This summer, more than 800 people will participate in the 29th Annual Sandestin Triathlon, one of the biggest athletic traditions in the area. On August 22, 2015, participants will compete in a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike ride along Scenic Highway 30-A, and a four-mile run through Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort‘s beach and bayside community.
Triathlons and other race/run/walk events are incredibly fun! Some races are perfect for the whole family. There are, however, a lot of details to keep in mind. Here is a video with tips and tricks for race day:
