July 4th is a big deal around here. We celebrate Independence Day with special events and fireworks happening up and down the 30A corridor. It’s like one big party along the beach. 30a.com has a complete schedule of July 4th events for those of you who are in town celebrating with us!
30A hot spots like the Seaside Amphitheater, The Green at Gulf Place, Alys Beach Amphitheatre, and The Hub host live music all summer. In fact, there are activities happening daily for kids, families and adults, so check out their online calendars for the latest happenings during your stay.
The breezes that help to moderate the summer heat aren’t the only great thing about life along the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf offers an abundance of opportunities for fishing and boating. If you prefer staying closer to shore, try YOLO boarding or kayaking the coastal dune lakes. Our concierge partner, Livewell 30A, can make the arrangements for a charter or rental.
Hiking or biking are fun and free ways to enjoy a 30A summer without working up too much of a sweat. Hundreds of miles of trails along the water or amongst the flora of our state parks offer gorgeous surroundings for a two-wheeled adventure.
