Looking for a cure from the winter weather blues? With freezing temperatures across the county, record snow falls and winter storms approaching, now is a great time to plan your next warm weather vacation. Or better yet, pack your suitcase and come on down!Many people think of the beach as a summertime place, but there are four seasons of beautiful weather here and a year-round list of events and festivals to attend while you’re here.No matter what time of year you visit 30A, even in the winter, you’ll find pleasantly warm temperatures. In the coolest months of December – February, the area along 30A enjoys an average daily high of 62° – 65°. Nights cool off but the temperature rarely dips below 45°. During the warmest months, July and August, the average low is 71°; upper average is 89°. We’d call that perfect, summertime weather.

September through May tend to have less rain than the months of June, July and August, but even during the “rainy season” we may only have a brief sun shower and then it dries up. While winters can be dry and summers can be warm, a gentle sea breeze keeps everyone cool and comfortable. There really isn’t a “bad” time to visit 30A.

While you’re dreaming of warm turquoise-blue waters and sugar-white beaches to wriggle your toes in, take some time to explore all that the 30A beaches have to offer.
